Drama depicts the delicate relationship between female university student Hong Seol (Kim Go-Eun) and her senior Yoo Jung (Park Hae-Jin). i felt a real atmosphere/aura through these events .. i can't imagine someone else except Park Hye Jin for Yoo jung's role or another actress takin' Kim Go Eun's place with Seoul's role! Good thing a movie is coming out and hope it removes the bad aftertaste left for many viewers of this superb superb story! I never had a 2nd male lead syndrome before but the eff! I wanna bitch slap Yoo Jung so damn hard for being fcking manipulative and hug Baek In Ho so very tight to ease all his burden. The characters are well potrayed andthe plot is quiet good. After all the story in the previous episodes, the ending is not as good as what i expect.Hong-Seol works part-time due to her family's poor background. I do not know anything about the webtoon so my comment will be just of what I've watched. I also knew where Baek In Ha is coming from so yeah I couldn't be mad at her. In addition, the second lead male outshine the first lead male at some point.
i dont hate the 2 leads but their character is so annoying like those annoying couple in uni/college who got good grades but is too proud to help their coursemates, so annoying !! I wonder if the producer intended to summed up the story in the most uncreative way ???? I love you Hae Jin OPPA please make more rom-com dramas ❤️️❤️️❤️️ First, people should stop making, reading, watching and liking this kind of story.
I had watching the drama because I feel attracted about Jung character , I mean the way his mind work I want to known more . Kim Go Eun's uniqueness make me want to watch her more, she's not the stand out typical beautiful actress but as you go along with her she really stands out especially the way she act in this. But a very few story writers and directors are real saddist when it comes to creating a cliffhanging ending. I am currently watching this drama, and based on what I’ve read from the comments, the ending is not that good.
The first thing when the drama end i feel unsatisfied because I can said goodbye for all characters but Jung. i love the plot story and how go eun and hae jin portray their characters. But for me, whether they end up together or not, as long as I/you/we enjoyed watching and loved their characters, it’s surely an awesome drama.
even if there are some slow events i never got bored .. I have never encountered a protagonist like "Yoo Jung" and hats off to Park Hae Jin for the stellar performance in face of so many real difficulties I would like to give the benefit of doubt to the PD since she has never once botched up character stories (Coffee Prince remains an eternal favourite and is a shining example of a romance well done). That's why I want a season 2 with Baek In Ho's new love interest. Since i do not read the webtoon, i have no idea which things are different with the original webtoon.
Anybody praising the second lead needs a reality check-second leads are not supposed to have the happy ending esp for a published source material.
Maybe the spoiled ending prepared me for this, but I felt it was realistic and still hopeful. I think the only weakness of the original webtoon is both Hong Seol and Yoo Jung already love each other deeply and Hong Seol love him even with his Dark side, Knowing that, the writer shouldn't make the strong secondary male lead character, along the story he just have to explore how Hong Seol slowly eradicate Yoo Jung dark side. how i wish there is a season 2 with the original cast.
I would have liked one more episode but then this too is quite good. Then, in this adaptation there are many error too, Hong Seol should be more bald and not shy, Yoo Jung have a fewer scene in every episode and the biggest mistake is the secondary male lead becoming more and more loveable to Seol and viewers since he is warm, and kind person yet too overwhelmed by Yoo Jung. im just disappointed towards the ending, i share the same sentiments with most of the viewers!! i read that there is a movie adoptation but im not excited to watch it bcoz it's not kim go eun playing hong seol huhu! I watched this drama despite the presence of some untalented over-rated actors and just because of Park Hae Jin and guess what! And Tvn really needs to pay attention to what it airs! I can't move on how exactly the the final episode was Done.
Only when i reading the webtoon I can make an conclusion of Jung character. Don't know why when I remember the last episode with sad ending,it's break my heart and makes my tear drops T. I already watching so many K Drama but this drama has torn my heart apart. And for In Ho and Hong Seol, i really wish a happy ending for them not in a lover state, but in term of their aspiration and glad finally their made it (Seol for having a good job and In Ho as Well Known Pianist). For me, it was really innapropriate for director to cut Yoo Jung's scene.. there's a rumor that this will have a continuation? anyway, it's almost 2 years since it was aired but i'm still watching it! The hardships portrayed by the characters makes us to want them to had a better ending especially the twins and seol, i can't say im happy with the ending, I've watched a lot of series with this like of endings, but rarely i get this heavy vibes with which this series gives me. I had resisted watching this for a long time due to the infamous "ending" or non ending, to be more precise.
And Im really glad that yoo jung could stay away from everyone cos he's such pain in the arse and he really need to learn that he can not control and manipulate everyone else life as he pleases! Need season 2 ASAP It was really enjoyable, annoying, interesting, and mixed feelings.. Still, decided to watch it and found a completely different drama world.
It is to Park Hae Jin credit that he has pulled off an unsympathetic character and lent it substance and likeability.
He was also great in "Bad Guys" The support cast is superb and Baek in ho/ha standout.
Beside seol and yoo jung, the supporting characters are equally interesting.
